Jose Icaza just developed a Logo Turtle app with App Inventor. It’s a great app and fun to play with, and Jose provides source code and some great tips on using App Inventor. It also brings us full circle from a historical perspective– App Inventor designer Hal Abelson implemented the first Logo graphics turtle and published the classic text, Turtle Graphics: The Computer as a Medium for Exploring Mathematics in 1986.
